Otis Tidwell, 78, of Powder Mill Road, died Saturday, November 28, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Columbia, he was a son of the late Curtis F. and Laura Frost Tidwell. He was a retired welder from Duke Power. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was also a HAM radio enthusiast. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Joanne Baumgarner Tidwell of the home; 2 sons, Tim Tidwell(Missy), of Six Mile, Tony Tidwell(Jenifer), of Central; 4 brothers, Ronald, Robert, Frankie and Sherwood Tidwell, all of Columbia; a sister, Jeanette McCall, of Cashiers, NC; and a granddaughter, Lilly Tidwell of Central

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a sister, Edna Caughman; and 2 brothers, Charles and Marvin Tidwell.

The family will be at their respective homes.

A private graveside service was held at Liberty Memorial Gardens.
