Joel Howard

Joel Anthoney Howard, 66, of Easley, South Carolina, died Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Prisma Health-Baptist Easley. Born in Easley, he was a son of the late Ralph Lewis and Carrie Louise Conley Howard.

During his working career he worked in paving with his brother, Mike.

Surviving is a brother, Lewis “Pete” Howard (Charlene) of Easley; four sisters, Marlene Mann of Cayce, Oleen Tinsley (Charles) of Valdese, NC, Deborah Doll-Gibbs of Simpsonville, and Catherine Johnson of Easley; a special friend, Martha Dillon of Easley; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda McWhorter, and a brother, Olin Michael “Mike” Howard.

The family will host a memorial service 2:00 PM Thursday, March 23, 2023, at West End Baptist Church, 120 Mission Drive, Easley SC 29642. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
