Memorial services to honor Jamie’s life will be 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. No formal visitation is planned. Social distancing protocols will be followed, seating will be limited, and masks for the service will be required.  A livestream of the service will be available by visiting his obituary page.

James Robert “Jamie” Grant, 38, of Anderson, South Carolina, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Anderson Area Medical Center.

Jamie was an avid fisherman, but above all else he was a loving father.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Melody Grant and Nevaeh Grant both of Easley and their mother, Nicole Grant of Easley; his father, James E. Gilchrist (Laura) of Hanover, PA; his mother, Ramona Grant of Liberty; a grandmother, Shelby Welborn of Liberty; 3 step children, Kennedy Brock, Aris and Madilyn Heisler, and their mother, Brittany Brock of Anderson; 4 sisters, Tasha Jones of Powdersville, Angela Gilchrist of Biglerville, PA, Audrey Gilchrist of Hanover, PA, and Julia Ridley of Campobello.
