Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Ryder will be conducted 12:00PM Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Entombment will follow at Liberty Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:45 until 11:45AM at the mortuary. A livestream of the service will be available by visiting his obituary.

Harold William Ryder of Liberty, South Carolina, died Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Born in Brevard, North Carolina he was a son of the late Robert and Etta Eubanks Ryder.

He retired from Platt-Saco Lowell where he was a diecast supervisor with 35 years of service.

Mr. Ryder loved horses, wagons, and antiques.

Surviving is his former wife, Linda Woodson (Richard Brenner) of Liberty; two sons, Kenneth Ryder and Daniel Ryder; a daughter, Tammy McGinnis; 5 grandchildren; a brother, Bert Ryder; 2 sisters, Mary Elizabeth Wiggins and Kathleen Morgan; also surviving are numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Ryder and Lewis “John” Ryder.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Baptist Church, 3858 Reasonover Road, Cedar Mountain NC 28718.
