Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Wood will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, February 4, 2022 at Graceland Cemetery West. The family will receive friends Friday from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.

Harold Jack Wood, 97, of Greenville, South Carolina, died Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Doverwood Nursing Home. Born in Greenville, he was the widower of Patsy Forester Wood and a son of the late Lillie Adams Wood.

Mr. Wood was a member of Berea First Baptist Church and retired from JP Stevens where he worked in maintenance. He served his country during World War II in the United States Navy.

Surviving are a son and a daughter in law, David and Jill Wood of Liberty Township, OH; three grandchildren, Michelle Ramsey of Blacksburg, VA, Andrew Wood of Cleveland, OH, and Jennifer Godfrey of Abbeville; also surviving are several great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and mother he was preceded in death by a daughter, Kay Wood Graddick.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to to Berea First Baptist Church, 529 Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville SC 29611.
