Bud had a servant heart, always ready to lend a hand. He came to the church early to make the coffee before Sunday School and bible studies. He was generous to share produce from his garden. Bud always had a warm smile and a twinkle in his eyes. All who knew him were blessed to have him in their lives. Thoughts and prayers to Cindy and Dennis and families. Jean Thomas

Bud, as a Navy guy, and me as an Army guy, always looked forward to the Army-Navy football game. No matter the score, we were proud of the Annapolis Midshipmen and the West Point Cadets. At Liberty United Methodist Church on Sunday following the game, one of us would have bragging rights, at least temporarily. As a Navy NCO, Bud must have been very good at his job, being allowed to stay in the Navy for 35 years, serving in both the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts. What a Patriot! Dean Thomas

I am so sorry for your loss, but I know there's a wonderful reunion happening in heaven. I loved seeing Bud at church because I knew I would get a hug from him. He was a good man and will be missed.
