Christopher Chance Caldwell, a devoted father, brother, and friend, passed away unexpectedly, on August 14, 2024, at the age of 36.
Born on February 9, 1988, in Anderson, South Carolina, he resided in Easley, South Carolina. He was graduated of Liberty High School and was currently employed with A&A Fire Protection. His caring nature and willingness to lend a helping hand endeared him to colleagues and friends alike.
His life was filled with moments of joy spent with his daughters, whom he cherished deeply. He had a passion for cooking, going camping, and was an enthusiastic fisherman. Chance brought warmth and laughter to those around him, leaving an indelible mark on all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Gina Caldwell (Darren Youngblood); his stepdad, Stuart Reid (Trisha); his two daughters, Elle and Laryia; his girlfriend, Beth Merck; a brother, Chase Caldwell (Heather) and their children, Trenton, Kayleigh, Kayley, Alexus, and Kinleigh; six stepchildren, Trevan, Tanner, Teagan, Lizzy, Michael, and Axxis; four stepsisters, Chelsey, Cheyenne, and Savannah Youngblood, and Brianna Stancil; also surviving are an uncle Keith Glenn (Lisa), and two great-nieces Azlynn Grace and Journi Mae.
He was preceded in death by grandparents James W. and Betty Jean Glenn.
To honor and celebrate Chance’s life, a memorial service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at the mortuary.
In his passing, he leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends. He will forever be remembered and deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.
