Charlie Milan “Bubba” Yongue

Funeral services to honor Bubbas’ life will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17, 2022, in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel.  Burial will be at Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Charlie Milan Yongue, 61, of Six Mile, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at his residence.

Born in Chester, he was a son of Charlie T. and Emma Lou Dickerson Yongue.

He was a 1979 graduate DW Daniel High School and later from Tri County Technical College. He was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his nephews, niece, and great nephews. He was always generous and ready to help family and friends.

He was an employee of Duke Energy for 12 years and was currently working for Clement’s Electrical in Seneca for the past 28 years.

Surviving, in addition to his parents of Six Mile are two brothers, Tommy Yongue (Donna) of Six Mile, and John Yongue of Six Mile; a niece, Brittany Lynn Yongue; three nephews, Jonathan, Jeremiah, and Jacob Yongue; also surviving are 2 great nephews, Elijah and Waylon.

He was predeceased by a nephew, James Thomas Yongue.

In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Mountain View Baptist Church, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, 336 Mountain View Church Road, Six Mile SC 29682, or Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty SC 29657.
