Sarah Marshall

Sarah Ashley Marshall, 27, of South Carolina, died Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania she was a daughter of Curt and Christine Marshall.

Sarah graduated from South Pointe High School, received her BA from Clemson University, and later received her masters degree from The University of Chicago. She was currently working as the Director of Student Led Tutoring at Clemson University.

She loved history, reading, and traveling. She enjoyed being involved in Model UN in high school and college. Most of all she loved to help people. Sarah was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Rock Hill, SC where she was an active member of the Youth Group from elementary school through graduation.

Surviving in addition to her parents of Waxhaw, NC are two sisters, Caitlin Marshall of Atlanta, GA, and Megan Marshall of Manhattan, KS; also surviving is her loving boyfriend, Ethan Simmons, of Pittsburgh, PA as well as five uncles and four aunts.

No services are planned at this time, however a service to celebrate Sarah’s life will be announced at a later date.
