Mike, From the first time I met you 50 years ago, I was so impressed with your professionalism, Navy uniform and quick wit and intelligence. You were the inspiration for me joining the service. Through the years Sandy and I would visit you and Judy and I always looked forward to our many conversations about life in the service, our different experiences and our challenges. I thought of you as a true brother and not just a brother-in-law. I will miss you, your sense of humor, your advice and counsel. and the wonderful person I came to know. I know I will see you again some day and we can watch the Army Navy Game together from above. With Love your Brother Steve

Judy, Mike, Mark, and Melissa, It’s difficult to express how special “Mr. Mike” has been to us. We’ve had the privilege of being “next door neighbors” for 18 years, spent many hours working on projects and growing our friendship. It wasn’t uncommon to come home from work and find Mike working on something at our house. He has been a very special man to us and we will miss him very much. One of my favorite memories is watching him and Judy as they held hands and walked across the yard. We’ve been very blessed to have him in our lives. We love you all and will be praying the God’s comfort and peace will be with your family. With much love, Scott & Lynne
