Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Revis will be held 3:00 PM Monday at Jones Avenue Baptist Church. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Mary Yeargin Revis, 82, of 154 Pine Mountain Drive, passed away peacefully Saturday morning at her residence. Born in Anderson, she was the wife of D.E. “Tiny” Revis, Sr. and a daughter of the late Jessie W. and Farrah Smith Yeargin. Mrs. Revis was retired from Roper Motor Co. She loved cooking for her family and spending time outdoors trout fishing. She was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, D.E. “Eddie” Revis, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Powdersville; two brothers, Buddy Yeargin of Hampton, VA and Dennis Yeargin of Anderson; two grandchildren, Robert E. Revis and Jennifer Revis-Ferrell; and five great grandchildren, Jeremy Revis, Conner Ferrell, Maggie Revis, Jack Revis and K.J. Gaines.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by three sisters and one brother.
The family will be at the home.
