Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Wilson will be held at 12:00 noon Wednesday at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Greenville, SC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary. Burial will follow at Highland Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Gray Court, SC.

Mary Etta Martin Wilson, 87, of 26 Prestbury Drive, passed on peacefully Sunday morning while surrounded by her loving family at the home of her son, Rev. Larry K. Wilson in Anderson, SC. Born in Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Eugene and Daisy Baldwin Martin. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a graduate of Winthrop University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. For many years following, she taught at Tabernacle Christian School in Greenville and later retired from Faith Christian School in Laurens. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church for 48 years.

Surviving are 2 sons, Rev. Larry Keith Wilson(Debbie) of Anderson and Marvin Avery Wilson of the home; 4 grandchildren, Keith Wilson, Abby Bell(Chris), Charis Wilson and Alicia Kelley(Ryan); and one great grandson, Fisher Bell.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Blanche Campbell; and 3 brothers, Wayne, Robert and Wade Martin.

The family will be at the home of her son, Rev. Larry K. Wilson at 1923 Denver Road Anderson, SC 29625.
