Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Batson will be 1:00 PM Friday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Old Pickens Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Batson’s body will be taken home where the family will receive friends after 4:00 PM on Thursday.
Mary Mae Todd Batson, 70, of 516 Wilderness Trail, passed away peacefully Wednesday, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Easley she was a daughter of the late Henry and Ruby Todd Worley. She retired from Woodside Mill, and loved gardening and music.
Surviving are three daughters, Shirley Varnadore and Robbie Ellison both of Liberty, Mary Sue Stewart of Piedmont; three sons, Billy Sanders of Columbia, Rufus Sanders, Jr. and Wayne Sanders both of Williston; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a daughter Judy Bible.
