Martha Jane Hudson Holcombe, 85, of 1477 Rice Road, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at the Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Piedmont she was the widow of James Lewis Holcombe and a daughter of the late B. and Lois Hiott Hudson.
Mrs. Holcombe retired from Ryobi and was a member of Roanoke Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Janice Edmond of the home; five sons, Jimmy Holcombe of Six Mile, Joe Holcombe of Cleveland, GA, and Jackie, Jerry, and Jamie Holcombe all of Pickens; two sisters, Reba Gillespie of Williamston, and Elaine Barrett of Pelzer; 10 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Marsha Holcombe and Sam Edmond.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson SC 29621.
