Martha Bagwell Childers, 87, of 4706 Six Mile Highway, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Brookdale at Central. Born in Six Mile she was the widow of Tom Childers and a daughter of the late Jay and Pauline Farmer Young.
She was a member of Ridgeland Drive Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Patsy Bagwell and Sheilah Bagwell both of Six Mile; two sons, Tony Bagwell of Easley and Benny Bagwell of Six Mile; four sisters, Eunice Pilgrim, Jean Reeves, Carolyn Wade, and Varina Turner; three brothers, Joe Dean, Coy, and Gary Young; four grandchildren, Andy Bagwell, Kelly Page, Jennifer Kelly, and Zane Bagwell; 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mansell Bagwell, and two brothers, Bud and Tommy Young.
The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials are requested to the ALS Association
