Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Stancil will be 3:00 PM Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Gap Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Martha Ann Smith Stancil, 80, of 1005 Robinson Bridge Road, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017 at Pendleton Manor in Greenville.
Born in Six Mile she was the widow of Melvin Eugene Stancil and a daughter of the late Charles Leonard and Ethel Merck Smith. She retired from JP Stevens, Clemson Plant and was a member of Gap Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Grace Hedden of Donalds, and Gretta Hawkins of Travelers Rest; a son, Ronald Stancil of Liberty; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
The family will be at their respective homes. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements
