Martha Ann Holcombe Griffin

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Griffin will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 until 2:00 PM.

Martha Ann Holcombe Griffin, 60, of 427 Slab Bridge Road, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her home. Born in Easley she was a daughter of the late Charlie M. and Marie Black Holcombe.

For many years she worked in her family’s business, Holcombe Grocery, and later worked at Ball Mart. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Gerald Griffin of the home; a daughter, Tina Ellenburg (Chris) of Liberty; a sister, Joyce Stokes of Easley; two brothers, Sam and Joe Holcombe both of Liberty; 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Josh, Breanna, Kaitlyn, Ethan, and Christopher; and a great granddaughter, Lily.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Lee Griffin.
