Funeral services to honor the life of “Mot” will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday at Martin Grove Wesleyan Church followed by burial at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and family at the home where her body will be taken to lie in state.
Martha Aiken “Mot” Hendricks, 53, of 230 Mt. Bethel Road, died Saturday evening at her residence. Born in Pickens, she was the wife of Ivy Douglas “Doug” Hendricks and a daughter of Helen Davis Aiken of the home and the late Freeman Aiken. She attended Martin Grove Wesleyan Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are a sister, Patricia Wilson of Pickens; four nephews and one niece whom she loved as her own, Chris, Christopher, Chavis, Blake and Kelcie Aiken.
