Linda Spearman Raby Holmes

Funeral services for Mrs. Holmes will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Linda Spearman Raby Holmes, 59, of 144 Terrace Hill Drive, died Monday at Cannon Memorial Hospital. Born in Anderson, she was the wife of Roger Dale Holmes of the home and the daughter of the late David Franklin Spearman and Hazel Sentell Spearman of Pickens. She was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are 2 daughters, Melisa Cox(Michael) of Sunset and Christa Galloway(Zane) of Pickens; 2 step daughters, Betty Keller(Gary) and Tonya Daniels(Jay) both of Travelers Rest; 2 sons, Travis Raby(Jill) of Liberty and Rodney Raby(Leann) of Pickens; 2 step sons, Roger Holmes(Shantell) of Greenville and Chester Holmes(Ashley) of Berea; a sister, Gladys Locke of Pickens; 5 brothers, Kenneth and Ed Spearman both of Pickens, James and Terry Spearman, both of Easley and Roy Spearman of Simpsonville; 24 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

In addition to her father she was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Jean Watkins; and 2 brothers, Franklin and Tommy Spearman.
