Graveside service to honor the life of Mrs. Kay will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Liberty Memorial Gardens. No visitation is planned.
Laura Riggins Kay, 87, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Magnolia’s of Easley. Born in Six Mile she was the widow of James Robert Kay and a daughter of the late Jerry Thomas and Laura Stephens Riggins.
She retired from Greenwood Mills and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Surviving are a granddaughter, Heather Kay of Seymour, TN; a brother, Richard Riggins(Shelby) of Six Mile.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmy James Kay.
Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
