Funeral services to honor Freddie’s life will be 3:00 PM Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at the mortuary.
Kenneth Fredrick “Freddie” Morgan, 54, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 28, 2013 at his residence.
Born in Pickens he was a son of the late Willie and Grace Stancil Morgan. He was a 1977 graduate of Pickens High School. He retired as the Director of Transportation from Tri-County Technical College and was awarded many awards during his career there.
His hobbies included writing poetry, working with computers, and spending time with his cats.
Surviving are a daughter, Kenna Dillard of Pickens; two sisters, Audrey Fisher of Sunset, and Genell Mull of Easley; a grandson, Price Dillard of Pickens; three nieces, Jill Newman and Robin Floyd both of Sunset, and Charlene Lesley; two nephews, Kenny Fisher and Brian Stewart both of Sunset; three great nieces, Portia Newman and Kylee Fisher both of Sunset, and Blythe Seeton of Oklahoma; three great nephews, Brandon Newman of Liberty, Kole Fisher of Sunset, and Brett Floyd of Camp LeJuene, NC; his two precious cats, Rackie and Miss Kitty.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Morgan of Pelion, SC.

The family will be at the home of his sister, Audrey Fisher, 1640 Cleo Chapman Highway, Sunset SC 29685.
