Keegan Swafford
Liberty, SC
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved child, Keegan Zackery Swafford, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the tender age of 2 years old.
Keegan was born on June 5, 2021, in Anderson, SC, to his loving parents, Zackery and Amanda Swafford.
Keegan was a bright and curious soul who had a profound love for dinosaurs, vehicles, and animals. His eyes would always light up when he was drifting around on his Minnie and Mickey ride on car. One of his cherished moments was singing along to “Wheels on the Bus,” a song that never failed to bring a smile to his face.
Despite his tender age, Keegan was always eager to lend a helping hand. Whether it was assisting his siblings or offering a hug when someone was feeling down, his kindness and compassion knew no bounds.
In addition to his parents, he will be deeply missed by his adoring family, including his siblings Aliyah Swafford, Cayden Ellenburg, Logan Hamby, his twin sister, Leilani Swafford, and Natalie Swafford; his grandparents, Judy Darrow (Terry), David Durham (Stacy), Missy Brown (David), Carlton Swafford (Amber); great grandparents, Roy and Janice Swafford, and Mickey and Judy Oates. He was also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
Though his time with us was short, the impact he had on our lives will never be forgotten.
Services to celebrate Keegan’s life will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 28, 2024 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Six Mile Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the mortuary. The family encourages all attendees to wear pastel colors to celebrate Easter early with Keegan.
You brought us so much joy and love in your short time on this earth. You will forever remain in our hearts, sweet angel. Rest in peace.
