Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Stancil will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, March 4, 2022 in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Private burial will be held at a later date at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery.

Kathy Lyneé Rampey Stancil, 65, of Stancil Road died Friday, February 25, 2022 at her residence. Born in Liberty, she was the wife of Allen Weldon Stancil of the home and a daughter of the late Marion Henry Rampey and the late Violet Brooks Rampey Seeley. She loved flower gardening, antique jewelry and being outdoors kayaking with Allen. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was employed at the Bariatric Clinic in Greenville and was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter, Jennifer Guthrie(Jason)of Simpsonville; a son, Josh Stancil(Ashley) of Liberty; a sister, Robin Cox of Liberty; her stepfather, Rodney Seeley of Liberty; and three grandchildren, Landon Stancil, Asher Carver and Avenley Stancil.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Masters; a brother, Jay Rampey; and a granddaughter, Ansley Claire Stancil.
