Junior Fred Privette, 90, of Statesville, North Carolina, died Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Born in Statesville, he was the widower of Beatrice Deese Privette, and a son of the late Quince and Arizona Munday Privette.

He was a retired truck driver and a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are a son, Cecil Privette, of Statesville, NC; a daughter, Jan Privette, of Statesville, NC; 2 stepdaughters; two stepsons; also surviving are a granddaughter, Brittany Privette, and a grandson, Sawyer Privette, and many other grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was the last surviving member of his immediate family and was predeceased by the following siblings, Violet Rupard, Hubert Privette, Jay Privette, Ray Privette, Conrad Privette, Doris Mitchell, and Jerry Privette.
