Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Fendley will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Nazareth Methodist Church Cemetery, in Westminster, SC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
June Dyer Fendley, 88, of 202 Green Drive, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the McCall Hospice House. Born in Blockley, England she was the widow of Walton Bruce Fendley and a daughter of the late Alfred and Henrietta Middleton Dyer.
Mrs. Fendley was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church, and was retired from Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. She was an avid gardener, who loved to knit, and she also loved animals.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia Register (Kenneth), and Sylvia Taylor (Curtis) all of Fayetteville, NC, and Carol Lynch (Randall) of the home; a son, William “Bill” Fendley (Pamela) of Ellington, CT; a step brother, Andrew Lesley Dyer; 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville SC 29680.
