John Moll

The memorial mass to honor the life of Mr. John Moll will be conducted 12:15PM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at St. Luke Catholic Church. Burial will follow at 2:30 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Due to the current COVID19 pandemic masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
John Walter Moll, 87, of Anderson, South Carolina, widower of Bessie Mae Stancil Moll, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania he was a son of the late John and Marie Ott Moll.
Mr. Moll was a retired Senior Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force having served for over 20 years. Throughout his career he was in the Vietnam War where he earned a Distinguished Flying Cross. He was a flight engineer during his career.
Following retirement from the Air Force he later retired from Michelin North American. He was a charter member of St. Luke Catholic Church of Easley.
Surviving are a daughter, Sue Brooks (Stan) of Easley; two sons, John Moll, Jr. of Easley, and Joseph Moll (Dawne) of Kiowa, CO; a brother, James Moll of Doylestown, PA; a sister, Rosemarie Zeiser of Harrisburg, PA; four grandchildren, Amery Brooks, Niel Brooks, Chrissy Banner, and Josh Moll; also surviving are three great grandchildren, Madison Brooks, J.J. Banner, and Sean Banner.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Marie Moll, and two brothers, George and Paul Moll.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to St. Luke Catholic Church, 4408 Highway 86, Easley SC 29642.
