A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Edmond will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at 3:00 PM in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 until 2:30 PM at the mortuary.

John Olin Edmond, Sr., 68, died Thursday, April 14, 2022 at Prisma Health Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Seneca, he was the husband to Belle Smith Edmond for almost 43 years and a son of the late Olin and Gracie Nicholson Edmond. Mr. Edmond was retired from Richmond Gear where he had worked for 20 years. He loved to work but he was an automobile and motorcycle enthusiast as well. Most of all he loved spending time with family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Sharel Broome of Seneca; three sons, John Edmond, Jr.(Rhonda)of Liberty, Kevin Edmond of Liberty and Douglas Edmond, of Seneca; two sisters, Elaine Lusk and Charline Crenshaw(Bruce), both of Liberty; two brothers, Sam Edmond(Becky) of Central and George Edmond(Donna) of Pendleton; four grandchildren, Shayla Lusk(Justin), Faith Edmond, Gracelyn Edmond and Sarah Beth Edmond; and one great grandchild, Montana Lusk.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Edmond.
