Jincey Stephens Sweezy Suttles, 86, of 547 E. Main Street, died Saturday at The Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Born in Liberty, she was a daughter of the late John and Stella Stephens. She was retired from Woodside Mills and had also worked at Seniors Unlimited. She was a longtime member of Eastside Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter Donna Messer(David) of Liberty; a son, Steve Sweezy(Ginny) of Cayce; 2 brothers, Don Stephens of Simpsonville and Dempsey Stephens of Greenville; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband James Wesley Sweezy; her second husband Woodrow Suttles; a daughter, Ann Sweezy Gibson; 3 sisters, Lois Acton, Sonnie Harvey and Dot Welborn; and 2 brothers, Bonham and Macon Stephens.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church: 920 Anderson Drive Liberty, SC 29657. The family will be at the home. Memorial messages may be sent to the family by visiting www.libertymortuary.com Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements.
