Jim Lewis Swayngham, 101, of Countryside Village, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at his residence. Born in Pickens, he was the widower of the late Eula Whitten Swayngham and the son of the late Lem and Susie Posey Swayngham. He was the last surviving member of his family. He was a self-employed farmer for many years and had attended Flat Rock Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Ruby Chastain.
A private graveside service will be held for Mr. Swayngham.
