Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Dyar will be 2:00 PM Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.
Jessie Lene Pinion Dyar, 79, of 1727 Maw Bridge Road, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Born in Six Mile she was a daughter of the late J.B. and Lou Veda Collins Pinion.
She was a long time member of Welcome Baptist Church, where she was a former secretary and treasurer. During her working career, she worked at JP Stevens, Pratt-Reed, and later owned and operated The Variety Shop in Central. Prior to retirement she owned and operated East Clemson Florist for 15 years.
Mrs. Dyar loved flowers, traveling, but most important of all was her family.
Surviving are her husband, Dewitt Dyar of the home; a daughter and son in law, Amanda and Rev. Dr. Larry Gunter of Easley; a son and daughter in law, Tim and Crystal Dyar of Central; two sisters, Glenda Maxey of Norris, and Brenda Kelly (Roger) of Six Mile; a brother, W.E. Pinion (Elaine) of Clemson; a sister in law, Jeanette Pinion of Piedmont; four grandchildren, Blake & Brandon Dyar, and Caleb & Hannah Gunter.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by 6 sisters, and a brother.
