Graveside services to honor Jerry’s life will be 2:00 PM Sunday at Westview Cemetery. The family will greet with friends and relatives following the service.
Jerry Elmore Chappell, 71, of 141 Cobb Street, died Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013 at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Greenville he was a son of the late Fred and Ruth Holcombe Chappell. He retired from Elliott Mill, was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church and was attending Wayside Baptist Church.
During his retirement he loved to spend time with his only granddaughter.
Surviving are his wife, Martha McAlister Chappell of the home; a daughter, Jeannie Chappell of Liberty; a sister, Fay Hall of Easley; three grandchildren, Haley, Jason, and Jeffrey Mauldin.
