Memorial services to honor the life of Mrs. Hughes will be 3:00 PM Sunday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Jean Hester Hughes, 62, of 435 Hall Road, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at her home. Born in Greenville she was a daughter of the late Charles and Pauline “Polly” Espey Hester.
Mrs. Hughes loved traveling to the mountains & beach with her two very special sisters. She was a member of the Silver Hearts.
Surviving are her husband, Johnny W. Hughes of the home; two sons, Tommy Hughes and his wife Valerie of Piedmont, and Mickey Hughes of Easley; two special sisters, Geri Mathis and Charlene Hall both of Easley; two brothers, Terry Hester of Sunset, and Ricky Hester of Pendleton; three grandchildren, Jonathan, Houston, and Austin Hughes.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Hester.
