Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Callihan will be 2:00 PM Friday at Roper Mountain Baptist Church. Private family burial will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Roper Mountain Baptist Church, 300 Roper Mountain Road Ext., Greenville SC.
Dellaree Jean Tennes Callihan, 66, of 109 Oak Park Drive, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 following an extended illness.
Born in Charleston she was a daughter of the late Rev. Albert Eugene, Sr. and Marie McKay Tennes.
She worked with Greenville County E.M.S. for many years as a Communications Specialist, and was a member of Roper Mountain Baptist Church.
Surviving are husband, Ron Callihan of the home; two daughters, Erica Vitosky (John) of Mauldin, and Tina Check (Ben) of Greenville; a bonus daughter, Kristi Rollins (Derick) of Liberty; a bonus son, Brandon Callihan (Andrea) of Liberty; two sisters, Karen Barnhart of Virginia, Ruthie Saulisbury of St. George; a brother, Gene Tennes of Mauldin; 8 grandchildren, Mitchell, Avery, Brennan, Eloisa, Hadley, McConley, Paisley, and Callan; also surviving are her mother-in-law, Lanora Callihan of Concord, NC, and her step-mother, Earline Tennes of Destin, FL.
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Interim Healthcare Hospice, 16 Hyland Road, Greenville SC 29615.
