James William “J.W.” Holden, 80, of 308 N. Church Street died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at his residence. Born in Liberty, he was the widower of the late Jessie Evelyn Finley Holden and a son of the late William and Aldi Hall Holden. He was a retired brick mason and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Tracy Lynn Brown(Brian) of Walhalla; 3 sons, Mike Holden(Sharon) of Liberty, Randy Holden(Jody) of Central and Mark Holden(Vickie) of West Union; 2 sisters, Dorothy Barrett of Florida and Lilly Gillespie of Central; a brother, David Holden of Liberty; 8 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
