A memorial service with to honor the life of Mr. Busby will be held in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel at 3:00 PM Friday, September 24, 2021.

 

James William “Jimmy” Busby, 56, of Shadow Hills Drive, died Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Prisma Health-Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, he was a son of William Floyd and and Jeannie Tucker Busby.

 

Mr. Busby was a United States Army veteran where he served during the Gulf War era. He was an avid coin collector and loved spending time with his family.

 

Surviving in additon to his parents are a son, Jared Busby of Illinois; a daughter, Joelle Busby of Illinois; a sister, Debra Eades, of Greenville; two brothers, Todd Busby of Liberty and Brandon Busby of Iva; numerous nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Jennifer Heinhorst.

 

He was preceded in death by a sister, Heather Busby Hammond.
