James Walter Bryant

Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Bryant will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Liberty Mortuary. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens.

James Walter Bryant, Sr., 80 of 121 Michelle Lane, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Lila Doyle Nursing Home. Born in Cateechee, he was a son of the late Clarence and Mamie Holiday Bryant. He was retired from Westpoint Stevens and loved to socialize and greet others. He had been attending Seneca Church of God of Prophecy.

Surviving are a long time companion, Christine Garrison of Williamston; a daughter, Rita Murphy(Keith) of Seneca; 5 sons, James Bryant, Jr.(Faye) of Central, Wallace R. Bryant(Sandra) of Easley, Carlton L. Bryant(Connie) of Seneca, Roy E. Bryant of NC and Randy Bryant(Terri) of Seneca; 2 brothers, Bill Bryant of Cleveland TN and Ralph Bryant of Pendleton; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Charles Wilton Bryant; a sister, Alice Young and a great grandchild, Jocelyn Bryant.
