Graveside services to honor the life of Mr. Ahlborn will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson, SC.
James Carl “Jim” Ahlborn, 64, of 2700 Silver Threads Lane, Apt. 204, died Monday at Pelham Medical Center in Greer. Born in Wanwatosa, WI, he was the son of the late Carl and Mary Gryskiewicz Ahlborn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. having served in the Vietnam War. He was a project Manager for D.H. Griffin at the BMW Plant in Greer.
Surviving are his fiancé, Tami Mealor and her son Tyler of Liberty; 4 sons, Kyle and Sean Ahlborn, and Matt and Tony Krolak; and several grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a memorial to a local Veteran’s Charity.
