Graveside services for Mr. Bryant will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday at Westview Cemetery in Liberty. A visitation will be held from 1:30 until 2:45PM prior to the service at Liberty Mortuary. Dr. Royce Addis will be officiating.
Jack Anderson Bryant, 78, of 400 N. Norris Drive died Monday at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens. Born in Cateechee, he was the husband of Inez Ross Bryant of the home and a son of the late Clyde and Blanch Bryson Bryant. Mr. Bryant served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Navy. He was retired from Mohawk Industries and was a fireman at Norris Fire Department for over 50 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Velma “V.V.” Massey(Andrew) of Williamston; a son, Chip Bryant(Cindy) of Laurens; a sister, Thelma Jeffrey of Virginia; a granddaughter, Kayla Massey; and 4 step grandchildren, Lynsey, Jennifer and Preston Dunning and Jessica Langley.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Michael Bryant; and a brother, Austin “Bud” Bryant.
