Funeral services to honor Mr. Caddell’s life will be 2:00 PM Monday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Harold George Caddell, 85, of 165 McGaha Road, died Friday, March 29, 2013. Born in Baltimore, MD he was the widower of Ruby Lee Parsons Caddell, and a son of the late George Melton and Mae Tanner Caddell. He was retired from General Electric and was a US Navy Veteran of the Second World War where he was stationed at Pearl Harbor.
He was a longtime member of Mile Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Kathy Clontz and her husband Rick of Easley; two grandsons, Nathaniel and Matthew Rice both of Easley.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Carroll Caddell and F.M. Caddell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
