Grace Sapar-Simpsonville, SC

The family will receive friends Thursday evening, August 6, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the Liberty Mortuary. The family asks that all in attendance wear masks. Funeral services will take place in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Grace Jean Sapar, 90, of Simpsonville, South Carolina, died Sunday, August 2, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Butler, she was the widow of John Sapar and a daughter of the late Verness and Florence Fair Morter.

She was retired from Sunnyview Retirement Home where she worked as a dietary supervisor. During her free time she enjoyed bowling, bingo, crossword puzzles, and playing cards. Grace was a member of St. John's Byzantine Greek Catholic Church.

Surviving are a daughter, Betsey Bernsteil (David) of Simpsonville; 2 sons, Michael Bobby (Donna) of Butler, PA, and Frank Bobby (Donna) of Liberty; 6 grandchildren, Leigh Ann Burgess, Jessica Thomas, Erin Bernsteil, Joshua Bobby, Stephen Bobby, and Juliane Bobby; 8 great grandchildren; also surviving is her faithful companion “Babe” her loving dog.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Pruitt Hospice, 301 Halton Road, Suite B, Greenville SC 29607.
