Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Galloway will be held in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 2:00 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary. Private burial will be held at Liberty Memorial Gardens.

Freida Fay Speights Galloway, 86, of Joyce Street, died Saturday, January 22, 2022 at The Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca. Born in Vicksburg, MS, she was the widow of Paul Olonzo Galloway and a daughter of the late Vernon Shelby Speights and Louise Miller Monger. She worked for many years at Heilig-Meyers. She had many interests; gardening, sewing, cooking and arts and crafts are among just a few. She was a member of Seneca Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Karen Pratt-Walters(Jeff) of Norris and Cyndi Young(Douglas) of Seneca; a son, Keith Galloway of Norris; a sister, Maurine “Elsie” Holmes of Burnesville, NC; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a son David Paul Galloway; and two brothers, Donald and Charles Speights.
