Graveside Services to honor the life of Mr. McAlister will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Friday, September 24, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  In keeping with Freddie’s nature the family will hold a private viewing.

Frederick Cecil “Freddie” McAlister, 64 of Mountain View Drive, Central died Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.  Born in Anderson, he was a son of the late Jimmy McAlister and the late Ruth Smith Fisher.

Freddie was a godly man who loved Clemson football and reading his bible.  Freddie loved praying for and with others, laughing and always wearing a smile on his face. He was also known as the family prayer warrior.  His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he interacted with as well as those he reached but never met.

Surviving are his four children, Kristin Freeman of Liberty, Brittani Lee of Seneca, Joshua (Tammy) McAlister of Newry, and Brooke (Travis) Francis of Rincon, GA.  Also surviving are his brothers, Keith (Janet) McAlister of Norris and Paul (Cathey) McAlister of Pendleton.  Freddie also had seven grandchildren, Chace, Hunter, Samual, Landon, Lucas, Marley, Tyler, and one great grandchild, Amara.
