Evelyn Long Martin, 102, formerly of Charlotte, NC, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning at Quillen Manor in Fountain Inn. Born in Monroe, NC, she was the widow of Floyd J. Martin and a daughter of the late Zeb Vance and Lois Helms Long. She was a homemaker and a member of University City United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a son, Benny Martin and his wife Jerome of Greenville; a sister, Mable Huntley of York; 3 grandchildren, Michele Tucker(Bobby) of Easley, Phillip Martin(Michelle) of Matthews, NC and Tonia Sue Sides of Cary, NC; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Agape Hospice, 420 West Farley Avenue, Laurens SC 29360.
