Elizabeth Minnie Ballew, 91, of Greenville, South Carolina, died Monday, August 17, 2020 at McCall Hospice House. Born in Liberty, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Adele Porter Garrison.

Mrs. Ballew was a graduate of Liberty High School and Draughons Business College. She worked many years for Patterson Dental Company.

She was a member of Welcome Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Greg Ballew (Vicki) of Simpsonville; two grandchildren, Katelyn Ballew Miley (Brandon) of Simpsonville, and Alex Ballew of Simpsonville; one great granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace Miley.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Eugene, Bobby, and Jimmy Garrison.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Welcome Baptist Church, 2730 Anderson Road, Greenville SC 29611.

I always loved Lib. Her parents lived near us in Liberty and when she lived with them, She often gave me a ride to my work in Greenville. She was a kind, friendly Christian lady whom I always admired. She was also beautiful. My prayers are with you, Greg and family. Joyce Baugus Stewart

Greg, Your mother was a graceful lady. She looked like a model or a movie star. I can picture her when you were small coming to visit her parents across the street from us. We loved Mrs Ballew, she was family to us, our entire family loved visiting with her and checking on her sometimes. She was such a sweetheart and will be dearly missed down here on earth.
