Funeral Services for Mrs. Hinton will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Dorothy Lovell Syms Line Hinton, 89, of Country Side Village, passed away peacefully Thursday at Baptist Easley Hospital. Born in Liberty, She was the wife of Rev. Joseph Walter Hinton and a daughter of the late C.B. and Iva Sanders Lovell. She was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Welcome Baptist Church in Greenville.
Surviving in addition to her husband, of the home, are stepdaughter, Diane Easley(Wallace) of Vancleave, MS; a stepson, Dr. Dan Hinton(Sandra) of Pickens; four nieces, Ann Stancil(Earl), Rhonda Payne(Harley), Mary McCollum( Joe) and Teresa Lee; five nephews, Jim Lovell(Jo Ann), Gene Lovell(Carolyn), David Lovell(Ann), Butch Lovell(Vickey) and Mike Lovell(Rena); and four step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Frank Syms; her second husband, Howard Line; and two brothers.
