Donnie Lee “Pete” Lackey, Sr., 57, of 138 Gin Shoals Road, died Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Cannon Memorial Hospital in Pickens. Born in Anderson he was a son of Mildred Virginia Duncan Lackey and the late Buford C. Lackey.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Easley are his wife, Dianne Karr Lackey of the home; two daughters, Christina Dianne Lackey Davis of Liberty, and Leslie Dawn Lackey Smith of Pendleton; a son, Donnie Lee Lackey, Jr. of Easley; a sister, Deborah Lester of Liberty; a brother, Danny Ray Lackey of Six Mile; 6 grandchildren, Brady & Cory Davis, Christopher & Joshua Lackey, and Brennan & Sienna Smith.
