Donald Clay “Donnie” Gilstrap, 53, of 107 Quiet Lane, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Born in Pickens he was a son of the late Willard Ello and Sarah Bowen Gilstrap.
Donnie loved nothing more than spending time with his precious grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Wyman Gilstrap of the home; a daughter, Tristan McClain and her husband Nic, and their two children, Rylee & Levi all of Liberty; a son, James Butler and his wife Sarah, and their two children, Alexis & Jaythan all of Hampton, VA; a sister, Kathy Cassell of Pickens; two brothers, Randall Gilstrap of Liberty, and Timmy Gilstrap of Westminster.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Tony Gilstrap.
The family will gather to remember and celebrate Donnie’s life on Saturday, May 24, 2014 in the Community Building of Cedar Rock Church of God, 2114 Ireland Road, Easley SC from 12:30 PM until…………
The family will be at the home. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the charity of one’s choice.
