David Albert LaCasse, 71, formerly of Liberty, died Friday, February 24, 2017 at Rainey Hospice House in Anderson. Born in Pottsville, PA, he was the widower of Elaine Rose Avery LaCasse and the son of the late Maurice A. and Ann Marie Pfluger LaCasse. He retired as the manager of The Bantam Chef in Liberty. Mr. LaCasse served his country in the Vietnam War with the U.S. Navy. He was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Tiffani LaCasse of Liberty; a son, David LaCasse and his wife Heather of Pickens; 3 sisters, Mary Cain and her husband Phillip of Easley, Joanne Paradis and her husband Larry of Topsham, ME and Laura Bowen and her husband Terry of Easley, and 3 grandchildren, Brooke and Chelsea LaCasse and Alexis Cooper.
The family will be at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to Pruitt Health Care of Pickens Activities Fund: 163 Love and Care Road Six Mile, SC 29682. Liberty Mortuary is handling arrangements. www.libertymortuary.com
