Funeral services to honor the life of Mr. Clardy will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be at Liberty Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the mortuary.
Daniel K. Clardy, 62, of 837 Black Bottom Road, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 26, 2012. Born in Liberty he was a son of the late Colie L. and Eunice Owens Clardy.
Mr. Clardy worked in textiles for many years and later became a painting contractor. He will be remembered for his love to fellowship with people and his family. He faithfully attended The Church of God of Central.
Surviving are three sons, Mike Clardy of Easley, Shane Clardy and his wife Kelly of Seneca, and Colie Clardy of Liberty; three sisters, JoAnn Mckee and Jane Kay both of Mauldin, and Barbara Rampey of Liberty; four brothers, Kenneth Clardy of Liberty, Boyce Clardy of Simpsonville, Skeeter Clardy of Easley, and Wayne Clardy of Liberty; his longtime companion, Peggy Rothel of Easley; 6 grandchildren, Jessica, Scott, Chad, Andrew, Kristin, & Emma Clardy; a great granddaughter, Makayla Clardy.
The family will be at the home of Larry & Barbara Rampey, Golden Creek Road, Liberty SC 29657.
