Memorial services to honor the life of Mrs. Volrath will be 3:00 PM Saturday in the Liberty Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Corie L. Flint Volrath, 54, of 116 Golden Springs Drive, died Sunday, July 15, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Greenville she was a daughter of the late Keneth Lelend and Jonedith Taylor Flint. She was a homemaker, and her hobbies included reading, gardening, music, and above all else helping others.
Surviving are her husband, Steve L. Volrath of the home; a three sons, Stephen Blake Volrath of the home, Erik Paul Clark of Dacusville, and Robert William Thomas of Greenville; a daughter, Allison Clark Johnson of Dacusville; two sisters, Beverly Grainger of Greenville and Daphney Hickey of Charleston; 7 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Hospice House of Greenville, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville SC 29680.
